Our Milwaukee, WI, practice is equipped with the most up-to-date dental technology for your comfort and safety. Using advanced imaging and diagnostic tools, we can identify concerns with accuracy and precision. We can also craft same-day restorations for your convenience. Pairing our expertise with ultramodern techniques, our team at Czaplicki Family Dentistry can deliver a higher standard of service than ever before.
ORTHOPHOS SL 3-D Imaging
Our practice is proud to use a Dentsply Sirona ORTHOPHOS® SL 3-D to diagnose temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, bone loss, and other oral health issues. This scanner can take panoramic, high-definition images and can be adjusted to accommodate the individual curvature of each patient's jaw. The scanner is also equipped with an occlusal bite block, three-point head fixation system, and indicator lights that help patients maintain optimal positioning throughout the scan. These features can shorten your exam time and eliminate the need for retakes.

Same-Day Crowns with CEREC
Our office is also equipped with an on-site CEREC® (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) system, which can create stunning, functional, crowns in a single visit. Without CEREC technology, patients with damaged or decayed teeth would have to wait weeks before receiving a custom restoration from an off-site lab. CEREC enables us to craft your crowns in our office, so you can leave with a fully functional smile. To ensure the best possible fit, we can take digital rather than manual putty impressions, which are used to manufacture your crown from a single block of porcelain.
DIAGNOdent Pen: Diagnosing Cavities
The best time to treat a cavity is early on, before the spread of decay. However, some cavities are hard to see without advanced diagnostic tools. Our doctors use the DIAGNOdent™ pen, a dental caries system that uses laser fluorescence to identify cavities. This device is often more accurate than traditional x-rays and allows for better treatment planning.
Soft Tissue Therapy with NV Microlaser
Our NV® microlaser can be used to treat painful ulcers and canker sores, as well as gum disease. The laser precisely targets compromised tissue, without impacting the surrounding area. This results in less bleeding, reduced swelling, and a faster overall recovery time.
All Digital X-Rays
Similar to 3-D imaging, digital x-rays allow our doctors to diagnose a variety of issues including misalignment, impacted wisdom teeth, and deep decay. We also use these scans to educate our patients about their condition and the possible treatment options. Digital images emit less radiation than traditional x-rays for your safety.
Intraoral Cameras
Intraoral cameras are small, pen-shaped devices that can illuminate those hard-to-see areas. They enable us to more accurately diagnose issues such as gum disease and tooth decay early on, so we can provide you with more diverse treatment options.
